Weight loss supplements typically work by artificially ramping up your immune system with high levels of caffeine or with other caffeine-like substances. Although these can cause weight loss, they can also lead to other problems like heart problems, kidney problems, etc. The best way to lose weight is the old fashioned way; with diet and excercise. If you must take a supplement I would not suggest combining two different ones. The suggested dosage is given on the box/bottle. If it tells you to take a maximum of 6 per day would you then turn around and take 12 of them? You probably would not and this is the same thing as "stacking" supplements.
I hope this helps References : 4th year medical student
